Dr. Zhichen Lai is an Associate Professor at the College of Computer and Data Science, Fuzhou University, China. He is also affiliated with the Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Network Computing and Intelligent Information Processing and was selected for the China’s Ministry-Level Overseas Talent Introduction Program in 2025.
Previously, he held a postdoctoral position with Prof. Hua Lu. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Aalborg University in 2025, with his doctoral studies supervised by Prof. Christian S. Jensen (ACM/IEEE Fellow, MAE), Prof. Dalin Zhang, and Prof. Huan Li. In 2024, he served as a Junior Visiting Research Fellow at UNSW Sydney. Prior to this, he obtained his M.S. in Computer Science from Sichuan University in 2021, under the guidance of Prof. Jiancheng Lv, following his B.S. in Computer Science from UESTC in 2018.
